Today we are going to showcase some of the best websites that are using our event management software, Modern Events Calendar. We have selected options that cover a wide range of scenarios including business and community websites, each with their own uniqueness.

Sušská

This is a religious community website that gathers people from all faiths and cultures. They required a scheduling solution for the various events they hold, including ceremonies, meetings, musical rehearsals, etc.

They have decided to use MEC’s slider, monthly view to categorize their events and give their audience a good view of the events they have in any given month.

Island Parent

Island Parent is a magazine that teaches parenting and helps with raising children. If you’d like to raise healthy and balanced kids then you should visit their website. They are using MEC for the events in each issue of their magazine. The unique thing about their setup is that they have some online events and MEC can easily help them achieve that.

Thomas Adorff

This is a professional photo gallery that also offers photography tours in various dazzling locations where you can learn how to best capture the landscape.

This is a perfect example of the customization potentials of MEC. The website owners have tailored MEC to their creative designs and made something wonderful with several views and integrated elements. By clicking on the event cards in the Carousel view you will be taken to the event page where you can book and see further details about the event.

Washingtoniowa

This is a calendar for events in Washington, Iowa and the nearby communities. They have photo exhibitions and galleries or sometimes church events. This is an amazing opportunity to talk about MEC’s location and search bar features. Because they have events in various communities, they need a location feature to show what event is happening where. And this is easily done by MEC’s location feature where you can filter events based on country, state, city, and smaller communities. Users then can use the search feature to only see events that are happening in the location of their choosing.

Le Wip

Le Wip promotes events such as conferences, workshops and seminars. They have created two different shortcodes with different categories and views of their events.

Due to the variety of their events, they required a calendar that is flexible and MEC has completely delivered for them.

DREEMM

DREEMM is a Christian community that wishes to reinforce the relation of its members with Christ. They hold events regularly to bring their members together more often than once a week. A unique feature of their setup is that they have events displaying in both a list and a calendar view so visitors can look for what they want easier.

Soper Reese theater

As the name suggests, Soper Reese is a venue for events in Lake County, California. Their venue is used for movies and plays to concerts and seminars. Their clients can use the Frontend Event Submission to reserve the venue and others can see the events in the slider view and book whichever they want. They haven’t customized MEC and were perfectly happy with how everything looked out of the box.

BlinkOut

BlinkOut is the place for inspiration, creativity and ambition, not to mention their meditation workshops.

They have sorted their events in two layouts. They use the cover view on the homepage and a list view in their event page. They have color coded their events and categorize them based on that.

Since the beginning of MEC, our goal has been to create a product that suits everyone and their needs. So far, we have been told that it has been a success. But now you tell us what you need and how you’d like MEC to be?
